Application Area:Field Analysers (100's)Product Area:Tuneable Receivers and AnalysersFrequency Range:500MHz-18GHzTuning:YIG tunedInterface:GPIB Other:MIL-STD workEMC Item No:107
One of the older generation of YIG tuned superhet receiver with a YIG tracked preselector. Designed to perform emission testing to MIL461/462, FCC Part 18 plus other domestic standards in that range. The EMC-60 uses a built-in microprocessor to control the operation of the receiver through front panel controls. All front panel controls are directly addressable through the IEEE-488 GPIB. The frequency spectrum is scanned in 5 bands: 0.5MHz-2GHz; 2-4GHz; 4-8GHz; 8-12.4GHz; 12.4-18GHz. The receiver has its own built-in impulse generator for internal calibration. Input Z is 50ohms, nominal. I/p connector: precision ‘N’. Frequency display: 5 digit LED with 2% accuracy. The IF bandwidths (6dB) are: 0.1MHz, 1MHz and 10MHz. First IF frequency is: 250MHz; 2nd: 45MHz; 3rd: 10.7MHz. Narrowband sensitivity: +2dBuV (-105dBm) at 0.1MHz bw +12dBuV at 1MHz bw. RF voltage measurement range: 1.0uv to 3v (130dBs) with a 60dB display range plus 70dB range of front end attenuator in 10dB steps. Amplitude accuracy is +- 2dB. Tuning is helped with a front-panel analogue meter. Special Feature: The front end preselector and mixer unit is all contained within a detachable module at the rear. This can be removed and connected up via the supplied 7 metre lengths of remote cable. The coaxial feed then carries only 250MHz of IF signal allowing the mixer head to be connected directly to the antenna thus reducing losses normally associated with microwave signal transmission. The receiver can be supplied with a laptop computer pre-loaded with our software (Item 124) for automatic data downloading and graphical printouts.
