Application Area:Field Analysers (100's)Product Area:Tuneable Receivers and AnalysersFrequency Range:20Hz-40GHzTuning:Manual or sweptInterface:IEEE-488.2Other:mains drivenEMC Item No:116
A fully compliant receiver. Testing to: CISPR16-1/VDE0876/EN/FCC/ ANSI/VCCI. And with MIL STD. & DEF. STAN, DO-160 capability. Mains operation, but with no tracking generator (see end of description). Full pre-selection in receiver mode. It comes with the 20dB pre-amp option all the way to 40GHz.It can be used as stand-alone or with our Item 124 laptop + s/w. Special software drivers have been written for this device with multiband capability in that the software allows specific menus to be called up for different ranges, i.e. different bandwidths; antennas; spec lines etc. etc. These are then concatenated together as a single test file. The unit has two modes of operation as either an EMI receiver or as a spectrum analyser. This, at the time of web site update, is the most recent EMI receiver from R&S with virtually all of the already outstanding features of earlier models with automatic overload control, two RF inputs (20Hz-1GHz) & (20Hz-40GHz) to accommodate modes of operation. The design anticipates yet further the inexorable climb in upper frequency limits for future emission & comms test programmes. The receiver is also well equipped to carry out the conducted tests as well as the radiated. It is shipped with a DC block connector & the R&S LF transient suppressor for conducted work. Antenna or transducer factors can be stored to provide a composite data display of emissions against spec lines on its own internal print-out facility. A high measurement accuracy typically less than 0.7dB. A choice of 4 parallel detectors Pk.;Av.;Qp.; RMS. EMI Bandwidths of: 200Hz;9kHz;120kHz & Mil.Std’s 10Hz-10MHz requirement.. Brilliant two trace TFT colour display unit. All the microwave cables suited to the microwave end of the Rx can be found in section 700. NOTE: Our software is currently being modified to incorporate either the R&S SMP-04 or the SMR-20 sig gens so that they can be tracked with the Rx. This will effectively provide a T-G o/p on up to 20GHz or 40GHz.
