An earlier example of a combined commercial and military compliance receiver. The receiver also supports a Tracking Generator covering 9kHz-1GHz. an ideal accessory for filter work. The internal pre-amplifier provides an extra 10dB drop in the effective noise floor. The device requires mains i/p from 100vac to 240vac with power frequencies from 47Hz thru 420Hz.Running from an external DC is also possible from 12v or 24v. The receiver can be controlled on the IEEE-488 bus connector and EMC hire software addresses the receiver on both the emissions & Immunity packages with our item 124. The frequency range is broken up into 3 ranges, Vis.5Hz-50KHz, 9kHz-30MHz & 20MHz-1GHz. Frequency resolution is nominally 1Hz. The IF bandwidths available are linked to the ranges but they span from 2Hz; 20Hz; 50Hz; 200Hz; 500Hz; 1kHz; 10kHz; 100kHz; 120kHz and 1MHz. Input attenuation is settable from 0dB to 120dBs in 10dB steps with an”Auto-range”. All selected functions like attenuation or signal level are read out on a LCD display as with the frequency. Detector options are:- Peak; Quasi-peak, Average; RMS. Measurement time ( not the CISPR weighting times ) can be selected additionally to encompass signals with long cycle periods from 1ms to 100 seconds in the 1,2,5,10 sequence. There are 3 demodulation modes to select. Calibration: A facility for a short calibration” and a total calibration are provided. Although with an upper limit of 1GHz the receiver is unique in measuring down to 5Hz
