This unit is powered by two accumulators working through a modified APLAB 500 sinewave generator. The supply is a pure 240VAC sinusoidal at 50Hz nominally rated at 500 watts interfacing to a 13 amp skt on front panel. The input device comprises two heavy duty accumulators with a built in charger unit displaying the overall DC voltage and the readiness of the unit for service. It was constructed to provide the power for instrumentation used on surveillance in remote locations. Typically, an HP Analyser and laptop working in the field will have enough power for a duration of approximately two and a half hours. The analyser alone can run for three hours. It comes in two pieces, one being the Aplab sinewave producer itself fed with 24VDC from the accumulator unit with charger & voltage readout. Total Weight: 66Kgm.
