EMCO 7110 Probe Processing Unit

The DP/IU is the heart of the EMCO broadband “E” field monitoring system. It can be fed with data from up to 8 sensor heads via fibre optics. It performs arithmetic processing to display the E field in rectangular (x, y and z) or spherical (R, * and *) co-ordinates. It can perform: max; min; average and peak hold on any one of the channels. Readout of field strength can be presented in: V/m; or mW/sq.cm; The DP/IU uses LEDs to indicate which channels are being processed whilst the actual display is a back-lit LCD. The unit itself is mains powered and supports a GPIB interface. This item is incomplete by itself and requires either Items 148 or 150 as an input probe.
