This antenna has been designed and calibrated to obtain magnetic field measurements from 10kHz-30MHz in a 50Ω system. The loop antenna may be used with any spectrum analyser or receiver (Section 100). A balanced Faraday shield ensures a response only to the magnetic component of any field. This is a receiving antenna only, not for transmitting. It will encompass the LF radiated test required on some of the commercial specs.
