This set comprises the EMCO model 6509 Tx loop & The ALR-30M (item 308) a ten band receiving loop. Originally the above named set consisted of the EMCO 6509 (Item 306) Tx loop and the EMCO model 6507 (Item 305) broadband active receiving loop. However, in many cases an inactive loop is preferred as it reduces danger of compression or overload. These antennas are used for MIL-STD 285 or IEEE-299 Shielding Effectiveness. For individual data see (Items 305/306/308) .Picture shows Tx loop item 306 with Rx item 308 (in blue).Don’t forget that a remote status monitor is available (Item 305A) for the active loop (if preferred) if you are testing remotely and fear overload.
