Model PEF-10 is used to obtain radiated E-field measurements for use with the EMC-11 receiver Item 104 and has a frequency range of 20Hz-50kHz. Suitable for compliance testing to MIL-E-STD 8884 and NSA65-6. This antenna is connected to a high impedance differential amplifier at the antenna head. The low impedance output of the amplifier is applied to the EMC-11 receiver via a multi-conducting 26’ cable. The receiver supplies power, grounding and calibration signal inputs to the PEF-10. This antenna and receiver arrangement was part of the MIL-STD-462 requirement but has since performed some interesting work in measuring the ELF transmissions strengths from Rugby and cross correlating with the magnetic loop in the far field.
