EMCO model 3109 is designed to generate high levels of EM fields. Radiated Immunity as per EN61000-4-3 is achieved using the 3109 because of its ability to handle high power levels 1kWatt over a broadband. The unit uses a modified Guanella balun for impedance transformation and matching. Very easy to assemble and store. A customised case contains a mounting jig to give a radial polarisation option. Your will need a sturdy tripod (Item 800) for this antenna as seen. you can ofcourse dispense with the elaborate mounting hardware & simply screw the balun in either V or H position via its 1/4 unc receptacle on the two 90 degree faces.
NOTE: If difficulty is experienced in achieving field strength at low frequency end of test, then (Item 342A) a set of extended lengths of elements is available.
