The model 3148 is ideally suited for most types of EMC testing. Common applications include ANSI C63.4, FCC-15, FCC-18 and EN55022 Emissions Testing and EN61000-4-3 Immunity Testing. The antenna can withstand a peak power of 1.3kW. It has an average VSWR of 1.2:1. This model is one of the later EMCO designs addressing the inevitable extension in upper frequency testing. Check on methods of mounting, (see Section 800). It comes fitted with a 90 Deg swivel mount which interfaces with a 15” Delrin rod on an aluminum base with a 5/8 unc receptacle, as shown here.
