Single-phase mains interference Simulator with dips, interrupts and variations simulator to IEC1000-4-11 handles 16A continuous and 500A in-rush current supplying 230vac reduced to 250A in-rush with 115vac. Two integrated transformers make it possible to adjust the nominal voltage and the test voltage, independent of the mains supply. The PLINE can also be used for under & over-voltage as well as a stable AC source or to simulate phase angle control. It can be used as a stand-alone device using front panel controls or under computer control (item 570A). Up to 18 different programs can be saved in the PLINE memory. Each of these programs can comprise up to 18 freely definable test sequences. A realtime clock enables the date & time to be included in the test report print-outs. RMS voltage and current measurement integrated for constant monitoring of EUT condition. Current limit is user programmable from 0-16A. Synchronous or asynchronous operation is possible. Dips (0-80%) / interrupts (0-100%) programmable from and 30uS to 11 hours. Full load current can be maintained up to 40A in dip mode. Dual integrated variacs enable setting of test voltage from 0-115% of input voltage. Test system is self-calibrating for extra user confidence. Centronics printer interface for full test report generation. Software control under Item 570A comes with “Winpats 3.2” software to carry out automatic testing.
