The legs have a centre sliding section for varying the overall height or dealing with a sloping ground. The stability of the three-legged construction is enhanced by using spreader bars between each leg.On top in the centre of the load plate is a vertical 5/8 UNC thread which is tightened from underneath. Rubber feet have been fitted at the foot of each leg. This tripod is very sturdy when correctly erected and will handle and support all the range of antennas offered in this catalogue.
