The device is constructed of Delrin, is 10cm diameter and 6cm deep. It has a 5/8UNC male plug on the top and a 5/8UNC receptor underneath. It was produced to screw onto an existing tripod or other device and allow a continuous rotation in the azimuth plane whilst retaining rigidity. Normally, devices are locked onto the tripod and cannot rotate easily without slackening off the main vertical screw. This now permits an antenna to rotate through 360 degrees whilst still firmly supported
