EMCO 1050 ELECTRIC POWERED MAST

This mast has the usual 800mm square base construction with outriggers but uses the older 1050 motor unit which is linked to the 1050 controller via two 20 metre long cables. A typical choice of this device would be if an end user was already operating the EMCO 1050 system under software control and requires an immediate stand-in due to a service breakdown. A direct replacement (with customer software still in control) is then available. Even when used for the first time, control is exercised through the front panel of the 1050 controller. Electrical limits can be set at any height between one and four metres. The controller is also on the GPIB and will integrate into one of our emission software programs,(Item 124). No mains are required at the mast position as the power for the motor is fed down cables coming from the controller. There is no air polarisation with this mast. The antenna must be rotated by hand. The item comes complete with controller and cables (20 metres) ready to assemble to a custom height either inside a chamber or outside on a site with “guy ropes” if intended to be left erected overnight. The controller can draw up to 6 amperes at 240vac. Please inform HIRE DEPT. which antennas will be used so that correct clamps can accompany the mast. The mast base is on castors with screwdown locks for stabilising on uneven ground. The antenna boom is fitted with a coax cable clamp. Please decide which antenna fitting (Sub Item: Antenna clamps & mounts) you require when ordering the mast. Please specify the height you wish the mast to be rigged when ordering. This can then be done for you by the delivery staff.
