The turntable is 1.2m (4ft) diameter and stands just 50mm above floor surface. It is ideal for applications where height and portability is concerned. It can withstand 273kg (600lbs) distributed load. Its power unit is identical to the mast motor needing a 13A outlet socket to provide the power to an induction motor of 0.1hp. Again, this is fibre optically coupled to the 2090 controller via a 20m fibre optic cable. The table is constructed of high quality marine grade plywood and sealed with a durable laminate. It can be used both in chambers and outside. The mechanical drive between table and motor can be customised to suit your facility. Essentially, a flexible hose couples onto a 1” diameter fibreglass rod, this then interfaces to the turntable via a second hose which acts as a universal joint. The rod can be of varied lengths. Please specify which drive rod length you require. Viz; 0.5m; 1m; 1.5m; 2m. The table must either be ordered with a bench-top 2090 controller (Item 824) with its set of 20m lengths of fibre optic, or a hand controller. The controller will read out every degree of rotation. Instead of an automatic controller you may wish to operate with the Model 399054 hand control (Sub Item 823A). This just plugs into the motor unit via a 3m lead enabling the table to be operated with thumb switches.
