An engineer from EMCH will perform the testing with a range of hardware which includes a receiver; signal generators; RF Power amplifiers, microwave cabling, TWT amplifiers and the appropriate range of antennas. Advice and if possible solutions will be given where product fails to meet the required level of shielding. A full report is issued presenting all the figures measured after the test. The frequency range can also be swept under computer control. The guide price for this work is highly dependant upon the number of positions to be tested and number of frequency points. In particular, microwave frequencies due to their narrower beamwidth require a higher number of antenna placements to ensure an overall confidence in any validation.
