Product description

Test System for performing DCS06.B in accordance with Defence Standard 59-411, consisting of Test Generator, Injection Clamp & Calibration Jig.

The DCS06 Generator applies Def Stan 59-411 Type 2 damped oscillatory transients to the Equipment Under Test using a matched clamp.

The output waveform is fixed at 100 kHz and has a third half-cycle that lies between 25 % and 50 % of the first peak half cycle.

All user input and control is performed via the front touch-screen display.  The pulse application is also triggered via the display and there are no separate hardware buttons that perform this function.

If an AC supply is connected to the “Synchronisation In” port at the rear of the generator, the user has the option to apply pulses in synchronisation with the AC cycle.  This will operate from 20 Hz to 800 Hz and 60 V to 300 V in steps of 1 degree.

The generator comes with a full step-by-step procedure and uncertainty report which can assist customers in attaining UKAS accreditation for the test if required

An oscilloscope, high voltage differential probe and current probe are also required to perform the DCS06 calibration and test.

Pre and Post DCE01 equipment can be found in related products below.
