Product description

This is a small unobtrusive electric field probe for the measurement of radiated electric field during EN61000-4-3 or other RF immunity testing in enclosed chambers or GTEMs. As the immunity specs are now going up to 6GHz the range of this sensor is ideal. It essentially consists of the 'Orthogonal' miniature sensor. The sensor head is then connected via a duplex fibre optic cable interfacing into a fibre to a Radicentre CTR1001S Control Unit which can be connected via RS232 or USB. This then connects directly with any laptop with the Radimation Software or Drivers. The hired kit comes with a CD for installing on a customer’s PC or alternatively you can hire our new Radimation Software installed on a laptop or use a dongle containing the licence for your own laptop. The probe head itself consists of three miniature dipoles with a probe size of only 5.0 x 5.0 x 5.0 cm. It comes with a 10m fibre optic cable.

With a measurement speed of 60 samples per second for all separate axis (x, y and z) and isotropic value, the RadiSense ensures fast measurements. Due to the wide frequency range starting at 10 MHz up to 6 GHz it is ideally suited for EMC Automotive, Military and CE marking applications

 

Using LASER light as a power source, battery related problems like large probe dimension and quickly drained batteries are avoided.
