EMCO model 3108 is a medium powered biconical broadband antenna operating within a frequency range of 30-300MHz and in accordance with DoD and Military EMI Specifications. This antenna is really for usage in Radiated Immunity with an ability to handle 300Watts of i/p power but Radiated Emissions tests can also be performed. It is lightweight and portable.The 4 to 1 balun network is made of PTFE thermoplastic material with a modified line transformer for improved impedance matching. The item comes in a customised case which includes a flat extender mount 310 which provides separation from a tripod (Item 800) top allowing 90 degree rotation without hitting the legs. Extended elements can be ordered with this antenna as an option to improve transmission transfer in the 26HHz -70MHz region of operation.
