Test Mode: | Immunity |
Test Type: | Radiated |
Manufacturer: | EMCO |
Frequency: | 20Hz-50kHz |
This magnetic field generating coil is used in radiated susceptibility tests for qualifying equipment to specification MIL-STD-461D & 462D. method RS01. When RS01 is being performed, a 1Ω, 500W resistor should be connected in series to monitor current by a suitable meter. (item 267A). However, some aspects of Mil.Std. 462D require a monitoring loop to actually confirm the strength of the magnetic field at a specific point. This monitoring loop can be found under (item 317). NOTE: to produce fields of up to 1 milliTesla we have designed a version under 319.
