The Amplifier Research FL7006 is a laser-powered, isotropic electric field probe used for precise EMC radiated immunity testing.

This smart, fast, and extremely accurate device contains an internal microprocessor that handles linearization, temperature compensation, control, and communication functions.

The FL7006 Broadband E-Field Probe is compact and designed for radiated immunity measurements in accordance with EN 61000-4-3 and other RF immunity standards, whether in chambers or GTEM cells. Operating from 10 MHz to 6 GHz, it meets current immunity testing requirements. Its orthogonal sensor head contains three miniature dipoles for true isotropic measurement.

The FL7006 is supplied with a laser probe, a mainframe with remote connectivity (GPIB, USB, and RS232), and 10 m of fibre-optic cabling.

Where would this be used? The FL7006 is suited to radiated immunity testing or any application requiring electric field measurement.
