The AR FP7018 is a broadband E-Field probe utilised for accurately measuring electrical field strength. It is supplied with a mainframe with a screen readout of the measured level. The level is displayed as an isotropic value, but each axis can also be viewed independently.

Where would this be used? The AR FP7018 is predominantly used for Radiated Immunity testing.

The AR FM70004 readout unit features four control interfaces: USB, GPIB, RS232 and Ethernet. A clear LCD display with eight entry keys allows the operator to select and monitor up to four probes. The unit can display a single axis or all three axes simultaneously. A built-in frequency correction function is available when operating in standalone mode. The package includes a probe mount, enabling flexible orientation with the orthogonal head. The system is compatible with Immunity software for EN 61000-4-3 applications. A 10 m glass fibre optic cable connects the Starmonitor to the E-field probe. The FP7018 probe uses a NiMH battery, providing up to 40 hours’ operation after a three-hour recharge.
