The DCS06 Test System is a transient test generator supplied with a Test Generator, Injection Clamp, and Calibration Jig. It applies controlled damped oscillatory transients to an Equipment Under Test, with all setup and pulse triggering handled through the front touch-screen interface. If an AC supply is connected to the rear “Synchronisation In” port, the system can also apply pulses in sync with the AC cycle. The system includes a step-by-step procedure and uncertainty report, and requires an oscilloscope, high-voltage differential probe, and current probe for calibration and testing.

Where would this be used? The DCS06 Test System is used for conducted transient susceptibility testing, making it suitable for military, aerospace, defence electronics, and ruggedised equipment development. It is especially useful where equipment must be assessed for resilience to transient disturbances on power or signal lines, and its supporting documentation helps laboratories maintain recognised testing capability.
