The Schwarzbeck DBP-1840N824 is a low noise, high gain pre-amplifier used to increase the sensitivity of measurements. It has a built-in rechargeable battery, operation without power supply is possible.

 Where would this be used? The Schwarzbeck DBP-1840N824 is predominantly used within Radiated Emissions testing to amplify signals whilst keeping the noise floor constant.

A high gain pre-amplifier for microwave work. Unit is powered by mains via a plug-in socket providing the +12v DC. Also included are two 0.5m lengths of Utiflex UFA-147A extending the K(f) i/p o/p connections on the amplifier. The amp is permanently mounted on an aluminum box below with inbuilt cooling fan and its own on/off switch.
