Product description
Originally configured for MIL-STD testing. The RVR25A remote 41” rod antenna transforms the electric field component through ten passive transformer matching circuits from 10kHz-30MHz in 10 octaves. It has been designed for use with either the EMC-30 GPIB controlled receiver (Section 100) plus of course other 50Ω input receivers.
The antenna can also be used independently with a BCU-25 battery unit which screws into the antenna base , see photo inset, allowing band switching via a front panel rotary switch. Please specify how you wish to use the antenna.The use of tuned matching transformers increases the sensitivity of the loop whilst reducing the risk of overload across the band. NOTE: If you need a groundplane with the antenna, then order (Item 325A)
