The Rohde & Schwarz HZ-14 near field probe set is designed for detecting and locating sources of electromagnetic interference (EMI) on printed circuit boards, cables, and electronic assemblies. It is used in conjunction with a spectrum analyser or oscilloscope to identify radiated emissions during development and troubleshooting.

The probe set enables close-proximity scanning to pinpoint emission “hot spots” and assess noise coupling paths. It is typically supplied as part of a probe set that may include multiple loop sizes for magnetic field (H-field) detection and/or a stub probe for electric field (E-field) detection.

Where would this be used? The Rohde & Schwarz HZ-14 near field probe set, is predominantly used for EMC pre-compliance testing, design debugging, and EMI troubleshooting in laboratory and R&D environments.
