The York CNE is a Noise Generator which produces broadband noise to provide a controlled and repeatable signal. The CNEIII is supplied with 2 top-loaded monopoles for emitting efficiently over the frequency spectrum. There is an LED indicator which will alert the user when the noise source is active and when the batteries are low in charge.

Where would this be used? The York CNE can be used as a useful tool to test a product’s susceptibility when subject to external noise. It can also be used as a controlled reference for various testing, verification and calibration purposes.
