Another example of the combination of the folded “X wing” and the logarithmic sections to produce the familiar “Bilog” arrangement covering 30MHz to 3GHz. The folded X wing reduces coupling to the chamber floor or ceiling when in vertically polarized configuration. The extended frequency range is useful also in the receiving mode with good symmetry and a reasonable Antenna Factor at the higher frequencies. See chart. Don’t forget to order a sturdy form of mount unless using a mast. The device can also be used for immunity handling 300 watt. Ideal for Field Uniformity test.
