EMC Hire offers a bespoke EMC laboratory which is configured to allow the use of EMC Hires extensive range of test Products and Test Systems. The laboratory is available to hire Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:00 for half and full day bookings, if you have any queries you can contact us here.
The EMC laboratory is the perfect space to perform product development, pre-compliance or even compliance measurements if going down the self-certification route of a CE or UKCA mark.
As a company, EMC Hire understands the importance of flexibility for our customers. Our laboratory is versatile and enables quick changes to test methods, ensures efficiency and quick and easy access to EMC Hire test products and test systems.
Adding more flexibility, EMC Hire customers can self-test with the assurance that support is readily available, or have a Test Engineer permanently supporting and provide training on how to use the equipment.
In addition to EMC Hire’s onsite engineers, EMC Technical Specialists are also available through WEMEC Ltd, a partner company of EMC Hire, for additional support or assistance in problem resolution activities. The EMC laboratory has the following specification:
· Ground plane 3m x 1m, meeting the requirements of Def Stan 59-411, AECTP 500/250, Mil Std 461, CISPR 16, CISPR 25, CISPR 32, ISO 7637-2 / 16750-2 and ISO 11452
· GTEM for Radiated Emissions and Immunity in accordance with EN 61000-4-20 and EN 61000-4-21 with a uniform area to measure devices up to 40cm3.
o Field strength: 200V/m, 10 kHz – 18 GHz
o Radiated Emissions: 20 Hz -18 GHz, Open Area Test Site (OATS) corrections factors for 3m and 10m and Semi-anechoic Chamber (SAC) factors for 1m available
· The following EMC filtered power supplies are available:
o DC, 30 A
o Single Phase AC, 230V, 50Hz, 13A
o Single Phase AC, 230V, 50Hz, 16 A
o Single Phase AC, 110V. 50Hz, 16A
o Three Phase AC, 440V, 50Hz, 32A
Below is a table listing some of the measurements that can be performed in the EMC Laboratory, if you can not see your requirement please ask our technical specialists
